Jennifer Seibyl is an assessment manager at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. She works on RULER for High School, inspirED, and additional research projects. Jenny’s initial introduction into the world of emotional intelligence began in the Summer of 2013 when she was an intern for the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, working on the nascent stages of preschool RULER and the RELATE project. She continued this thread of interest throughout her academic career. Jenny’s most recent work experience was at McLean Hospital on a male adolescent residential unit treating young men with emerging borderline personality traits. This unique subset of clients sparked her interest in the intersection between youth mental health outcomes and SEL. Jenny holds a BA in Psychology from Skidmore College and a MEd in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her canine companion.
