Joanne Richardson comes to the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence from The Consultation Center in the Department of Psychiatry, where she played an essential role as a program coordinator since 2015. She coordinated partnerships and all trainings events for The Consultation Center, including the Yale-Bridgeport GEAR UP Project and the National Institute of Justice Project-Domestic Violence Homicide Prevention Demonstration Initiative. In her previous position of 20+ years as an office manager, Joanne collaborated with Yale departments across campus and negotiated all contracts with service providers. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University. She lives in East Haven with her husband.
