Infusing RULER into school communities takes creativity, time, and patience. We are committed to providing all RULER schools with the best support for ongoing improvement. The RULER subscription is available to RULER schools after their RULER Training and Implementation Support Package expires.
The RULER subscription is the result of listening to leaders, educators, students, and families dedicated to the RULER journey over the years. We’ve packaged the support they have found most valuable in making RULER successful in their school communities.

RULER Subscription
The RULER subscription is $1,000 per school/year. It includes:
Virtual Group Coaching Sessions: Your RULER Implementation Team can continue to leverage the knowledge and expertise of our RULER coaches with virtual group coaching sessions.
RULER Online Access: Your entire school administration, faculty, and staff will also get access to the RULER Online platform–a custom one-stop-shop for courses, resources, and tools designed for all educators and staff within a school.
Newsletters: Stay connected to our research, keep up to date on the latest from the SEL world, gain access to recommended resources to embolden the ongoing RULER work at your school, and participate in our community-building social media engagement campaigns. RULER newsletters delivered to the inboxes of your school’s Implementation Team will keep you informed and connected.
Support Webinars: Become a more confident ambassador of RULER with our support webinars. Offered throughout the academic year and recorded for convenient viewing, these sessions will be offered to the members of your RULER Implementation Team. Choose from sessions that address early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school as well as staff development and family engagement.
RULER Implementation Conference Discount: Purchase tickets to the annual RULER Implementation Conference at a discount. Offered every spring, the RULER Implementation Conference is an opportunity for your school’s team to learn from and network with other RULER practitioners and experts from YCEI.
The RULER Implementation Self-Assessment: Your school leader has access to the best tool available to guide RULER implementation reflection and planning. The RULER Implementation Self-Assessment was created to gauge your school’s RULER implementation progress by utilizing validated measures designed by researchers at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. Upon completion of the self-assessment, all responses will be emailed to your school leader for your school’s records.

Subscribing Multiple Schools
Schools can sign up individually, or multiple schools can sign up with a single payment at the district level. We do not offer single district subscriptions that can be shared across several schools. There is a 10% discount for districts enrolling 10 or more schools simultaneously for the subscription. If you are a district with over 35 schools subscribing, please contact us for discount options.
Subscription Eligibility
Schools that attended the RULER Institute (at Yale, online, or regionally) before April 2020 will have the opportunity to subscribe 1 year after their RULER Institute Training.
Schools that attend the RULER Institute Training after March 2020 will have the opportunity to subscribe 2 years after their RULER Institute training date.
